LASER TREATMENTS OF ANAL FISTULA

Anal Fistula is a condition which demands extensive care and specialized technique. While treating anal fistula, Surgeon has to face the difficulty in approaching abnormal tunnel and to destroy fistula tract without injuring the anal sphincter. a significant injury may cause life-long incontinence. Better to deal the Anal Fistula with the help of laser surgery . Under laser treatment, laser energy is delivered with the help of radial fiber into the anal fistula tract and it then thermally ablates the tract and closes off the abnormal pathway. The laser energy induces destruction of the fistula epithelium and simultaneous obliteration of the remaining fistula tract by a shrinkage effect. The epithelialized tissue is being destroyed in a controlled way and the fistula tract collapse to a very high degree. This also supports and accelerates the healing process.

LASER TREATMENTS OF ANAL FISSURE

If not treated in time, it may expand to large size and may interfere the hygiene of the patient. Patient trying to avoid consulting doctors due to embarrassment may be seen facing problems in short-term and serious fissure digs under tunnel in long term. Patients usually have a good idea of anal fissure.Recognising it same on time and treating it may save the patients from prolonged consequences. If anal fissures cases are recognised they can be cured with the simple medications and topical treatments. As time passes fissure injury may become chronic and extensive treatment is required. In laser Treatments for fissure it takes 10 - 15 minutes to treat the patients with using simple anaesthesia. In 90% cases, pain gone instantly where as 10% cases may take weeks to recover completely depending upon the fissure injury. In most cases, we combine this treatment with laser ablation to the patient’s internal hemorrhoids blood supply. This will assure a healthy and normal anal canal and prevent the development of further complications down the road.

LASER TREATMENTS OF PILES / HEMORRHOIDS

Hemorrhoids or piles are dilated lumps in the anus causing pain, discomfort, bleeding and repeated inflammatory attacks in the lower part. Some of the piles cases can be treated with the help of medication, diet and life style changes. but in case of grade 2 to 3 haemorrhoids , surgical treatments are compulsory to treat it from the root. Laser treatments is the minimal invasive technique with lesser pain and quick recovery. In laser treatments of piles, Laser energy is delivered by radial fiber directly to hemorrhoidal nodes to obliterate from inside and this will help to preserve mucosa and sphincter structure to an extremely high precision. Laser energy is used to close off the blood supply nourishing the abnormal growth. The laser energy induces destruction of the venous epithelium and simultaneous obliteration of the hemorrhoidal pile by a shrinkage effect.

To treat the Pilonidal Cyst, Endo laser treatments is used. In which, no additional incision or wound is made. The whole process requires less than half hour and using local anesthesia or short anesthesia
